Refugee Children in Mozambique:a drama in Africa

I need your HELP….I need to help these REFUGEE CHILDREN. THEY LIVE IN MOZAMBIQUE. THEY ARE FROM MANY AFRICAN COUNTRIES IN CONFLICT. THEY ARE INNOCENTS. They are simply CHILDREN. Impossible to visit there and do not suffer…Maybe, I am totally crazy when I sleep and wake up thinking about them…and their problems….If you want to help, PLEASE, CONTACT ME until September 27, when I will travel to Mozambique.
Some people from Brazil, Australia, USa had contacted me and they´ve sent me help by PAYPAL and Post OFFICE…YOU can do it. YOU do not need to do so much…take out the coca cola that you drink everyday…Abandone the idea to buy a new cloth…new shoes, make up…A simple thing and you can help them…

At the moment, my project is take out 8 of these children of REFUGEE CENTER. I KNOW I CAN´T SAVE THE WORLD. BUT I CAN CHANGE THE WORLD AROUND ME. BUT I CAN´T DO THIS ALONE! YOU CAN HELP ME!!!

On 31 august, I´ll do a vernissage and I´ll try to sell my photos and with the profit I hope that I can get 30.000 SEK. Yes..I need ONLY 30.000 SEk. I have part of that money… But I need more than 65% of the value.

The inspiration of my exhibition

….I KNOW I CANT SAVE THE WORLD, BUT I CAN CHANGE THE WORLD AROUND ME!!!
….EU SEI QUE EU NAO POSSO SALVAR O MUNDO, MAS EU POSSO MUDAR O MUNDO Á MINHA VOLTA!!!

Some people are rivers. Others are seas. Others are dreams. Others fantasies. And others are pure inspiration. When I started showing my photos at Flowers from Today I was ashamed to show my photos. For many months, Luci, Meire and Rosa adviced me : “Please, show your photos there. Your photos are very beautiful.” And I showed…the first, second and…now, I dont know how many photos I have showed there. But, on august 31, I´ll do my first vernissage at a swedish gallery. One part of the photos are FLOWERS. And many of them are pure inspiration.

Today, you can see in this slide, some photos that will be on display, starting the day 31. The exhibition will take place throughout September. I’ll be one of the artists of the month. The other is Monica, a swedish woman who creates art in acrylic. I always dreamed expose my pictures with names of people who inspired me. And this slide, you can see some photos that will be exposed. The profit from the sale of photos will go to the eight refugee children who live in Mozambique. That’s what the invitation in Swedish language says. I’m showing some pictures, today, because many of the people dont live in Sweden. If you are interested in purchase one of the photos, I can not sell without the names of the people, because the identity of these pictures is related to who inspired me.

Algumas pessoas são rios. Outros são os mares. Outros são sonhos. Outros fantasias.

Fresh air…

I need air!!!!!
Today, I need air…fresh air…to understand many questions and find answer to….

Odele Souza - August 11, 2010 - 12:37 pm

Dear Grace,

The problem is that for some of our questions we never find answers…

Tammy McChesney - August 11, 2010 - 8:52 pm

I hope you find what you are looking for…enjoy the fresh air…I am enjoying your image of fresh air in the rain…looks a little clouded, but I am sure the clouds will disappear and you will find your answers, just hope they are what you want to hear! :)

Daniel Savio - August 12, 2010 - 10:03 pm

Dog passport

I was waiting a friend in a park in Skövde, countryside of Sweden, when a woman stopped me and asked me:” do you know shoot dogs? I need two pictures of my dog. I´ll travel with “him” and I need his passport. In the photoshoping, a man told me that he does not shoot dogs”. I looked at her and said: ” I have no experience with dogs or other animals. But I can try, if your dog gives me conditions”. Only 10 minutes and I have taken lots pictures… This morning, I sent her…by email, a small photo and minutes later, she called me and I heard a woman laughinga lot…Photography is really to live and tell many stories. It’s exciting!

ME AVISA TB QUAL A RESPOSTA…RSRSRS…

Marina Johnsson disappeared

Some months ago I visited the Botanical Garden in Gotemburg. And there, I met some swedish photographers. One of them was Marina Johnsson. We talked some hours and the principal subject was NATURE!!! And she asked me if was possible to show the photos I have taken in Marstrand, one day before. I posted here and Marina Johnsson commented. Marina loved the nature and photos with. WATER. Now, she is DISAPPPEARED. I hope she is ok….And if she is died, the world lost 2 excellent eyes. The World lost a person who saw the life WITH COLORS. THE LIFE TO HER WASN´T IN BLACK AND WHITE. At the moment, the violence against the woman is very very high over the world. The World needs PEACE!!!

I hope she is ok too! You will have to keep us filled in on her story if you learn something….your slideshow is a wonderful tribute to her, beautiful just like her! :)

Its rather tragic that something such as this should happen! In a world of today, where focus should be more on technological and lifestyle improvement, it is appalling to find crime has a place!

I do hope that she is ok!

Fotos lindas, mas a do por-do-sol [sempre ele!] me prende…
